How to delete your account and what happens to your information.
You can do this yourself in the app in three taps. If you no longer have the app installed, there is a way to ask for it below.
In the app
- Open the app and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm.
It happens immediately. Nobody has to approve it and there is nothing to wait for.
If you no longer have the app
Write to talhaatariq4@gmail.com from any address, with the phone number you used to sign in and the name of the salon. The account is deleted within 30 days, and usually the same week.
Why the phone number
It is the only thing that identifies an account in this app. Without it there is no way to know which account to delete, and deleting the wrong one is worse than not deleting at all.
What is deleted
- Your name
- Your phone number, which is released so it can be used again
- Your sign-in, so the account cannot be logged back into
- Your notifications and every notification token for your devices
- Any pending list you were on
Your upcoming appointments are cancelled as part of this, and each freed time is offered to whoever was waiting for it.
What is kept, and for how long
Your past appointments stay in the salon's records as an anonymous entry, with no name and no number attached. That is the salon's own business history, and a customer leaving should not rewrite their bookkeeping. There is nothing in those rows that identifies you.
Nothing else is retained.
Signing up again
You can use the same phone number afterwards. It will be a completely new account with no history, because the old one is genuinely gone.
